Antoine Berberi is a graduate of the Lebanese University School of Dentistry in Beirut, Lebanon.
He specialized, in France, in Oral Surgery, graduating with an advanced certificate (CES), and in Periodontology, graduating with a University Diploma (DU). He also attended a doctoral course in Reims, France, leading to a “Doctorat d’Université” in Dentistry. He is Diplomate of the European Board of Oral Surgery (EBOS) and maintains a private practice (in Beirut and Doha, Qatar) limited to Surgical Dentistry, Oral Surgery, Surgical Implantology, and Periodontology. His main interests are HIV impact in dental practice, Astra Tech® implant, immediate implantation, oral tumors, and single-tooth replacement in implantology. Currently, Dr. Berberi is Associate Professor and Chairperson of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Lebanese University School of Dentistry in Beirut, President of the Lebanese Society of Oral Surgery, and Scientific Chairperson of the Lebanese Dental Association. He has published more than 35 scientific papers in several refereed journals, including IJOMI,Oral Surg Oral Med Oral Pathol Oral Radiol Endod, GIRSO, French Journal of Periodontology, and Quintessence International. Dr Berberi has lectured in USA, Norway, Spain, France, Russia, Sweden, Switzerland, Lebanon, and most Arab countries.
